From a recent sunset.

I like a sunrise with color exploding across a wonderful cloudscape as much as the next person, but sometimes a nice band of color is just right. Enjoy.

This tree isn't exactly alone...because there are some cows in the fog behind it, but it does look alone.

In keeping with my recent streak of witty titles for my pictures, I give you a shot of several cows enjoying a quiet, foggy morning in Jones Valley.

The unique thing about this cattle farm is that Jones Valley is right in the middle of town. Jones Farm is still rather large, even though a good portion of it has been developed into shopping, a park and an upcoming subdivision. Still, there are a few hundred head of cattle there and it's nice to have such a splendid slice of the farm life framed by the surrounding mountains....located minutes from my front door.

Yeah, I'm all out of cool titles for my pictures. That's probably been obvious for years.
