Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’ - Garden Splendor
This plant has a spectacular show of brightly colored new growth in spring and early summer. Later, the color gradually changes to soft chartreuse accented with softer bronze-red young tips. In summer, the textured leaves turn completely green and form a nice background to showoff white flowers that resemble spirea.

I have had one of these for a few years and it has become a complete menace sending up suckers through hebes rhododendron, azalea etc making it almost impossible to eradicate. I am now seriously contmplating digging out every plant in the bed in order to do so. David C
