With the renewed interest in local TV from the late 80's / early 90s and at the request of Frank Jolliffe, I have begun the task of remastering the 22 year-old episodes of The Meadowlands Showcase.

I was in communication with Frank the past few months and greatly looking forward to seeing him again until I heard the news of his passing in early February.

I received notice that there will be a memorial concert for Frank Jolliffe at 1pm, Sunday April 1, 2012. The location will be the Ivanhoe Wheelhouse, 4 Spruce Street between McBride and Market, Paterson NJ.

What was Meadowlands Showcase?
Set within the space of one half hour, Meadowlands Showcase was a not-for profit, free form television program comprised of music videos, music performances, sketch comedy, experimental films, artist interviews and any other type of interesting, strange or provocative material that happens to come to the producers attention.

The Great FPP Kodak Film Giveaway!

The Great FPP Kodak Film Giveaway!

If there's one thing that FPP likes to do it's to give away film!

Since The Film Photography Podcast's inception back in 2009, film giveaways have been constant.

First giveaway batches were from my own personal stash and soon after our first episodes, listeners starting donating.

In 2011 Kodak got involved with our first Portra giveaway in Summer 2011 followed by their generous donation of fresh film in October 2011 and a massive batch of expired film in December 2011.

We'll it's almost March 2012 and that means all the entry forms are in and we've started the intensive shipping process.

So, if you ever entered out giveaway contest there's a good chance you'll be getting a package in the mail soon.

Sadly, our request for film massively outnumbers our film supply so it's all being sent out on a the first-come, first serve rule.

Happy shooting!
