That's just the way it came out...and it was
two different brands of melts. I do twirl
the excess off so maybe that's how it gets
that way. I don't tap it off like Bakerella
shows but I hang it upside down and twirl and
shake (gently) and then when I flip it over I
give it a little shake so that it smooths out
on top...
Did you dip in white candy melts and then
green? Is it a red velvet cake? They are
just too cute. Thanks for posting this
wonderful idea and the how-to.
I just came across this on Pinterest and I
wish there was a tutorial! I've never had any
desire to attempt to make cake pops, but
these have my wheels spinning!

cute, cute, cute! How do you get your coating layers so thin? Do you add vegetable shortening or that other stuff?

How did you do the yellow lines on the outside? So cute!
lollicakes#1 (22 months ago | reply)
I used Wilton lime green color dust and dry brushed the lines on with a paintbrush...
krachmeler (22 months ago | reply)
The color dust for the lines is genius, pure genius.
