Today Anberlin is one week old. It flew by so fast but I blame our prolonged hospital stay. Everyone warned us that our life was going to change so much and it's not that I didn't believe them, I just took what they said as a negative when it's really a positive. Our lives have changed. I forget to eat, often. I'm not getting much sleep. I cry every single day. But the moment when she looks at me none of that matters because she is perfect. She completes this family in every way. I love watching my husband with her. He is an amazing daddy and an even better husband. I am so lucky. So so lucky. <3

Meet Anberlin Amy.
Born March 2, 2012 at 1530.
9lbs 3oz, 21.5 inches.

It's been a rollercoaster ride so far and she isn't even 48 hours old yet. As I sit here in my recovery room, our little girl is being monitored in the NICU because she spent the past 24 hours crying and not sleeping. They are doing tests to find out what's wrong so we are just waiting. Luckily, they aren't full so they are letting us stay here until she gets discharged. I've spent a lot of this morning crying. And I did manage a nap in there too. Then I went to visit her in the NICU and I got to hold her. She is seriously so precious. I'm enamored. My family is complete. <3

I am currently laying in a hospital bed with an IV in my hand, an oxygen mask on my face, and I can't feel the lower half of my body.
We've been here for 12 hours now. I've been in labor for about 16 hours. And, oh yeah, my water broke last night right as we were been sat to eat dinner. Haha. At least it makes a funny story, right??

Bean should be here at some point today.... We just have to keep waiting....
