Idaho Falls Dressed in White

Idaho Falls Dressed in White

I took this photo of the Idaho Falls LDS Temple (Mormon) this morning in the fog and freezing cold. Fun shoot!

Shot this photo while out on my trip to Fairfield last weekend to shoot the wildflowers.

God's Country

God's Country

I woke up at 3:30AM, drove for an hour and a half, and waded through chest-high water with my tripod above my head, but I got the shot I wanted.

Seeing places like this makes me wonder how anyone could doubt that it was God who created this world.

Typically Naples

Typically Naples

One of the very last photos I ever shot in my old stomping grounds of Naples, Florida before I moved here to Boise, Idaho last week. I wonder how many shots I've taken of this pier.

Joseph's Vision

Joseph's Vision

This photo is of the Nauvoo temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon), which is located in Nauvoo, Illinois. Joseph Smith saw a vision of this temple in the 1840s. At the time, he told the architect for the building, "I have seen in vision the splendid appearance of that building illuminated, and will have it built according to the pattern shown me." To learn about the LDS church, go to Mormon.org.

I took this photo this last Sunday in a DOWNPOUR rain storm. The rain drops don't show in this photo because I used a long exposure. I didn't have a rain sleeve for my camera, so I put a store plastic bag over the camera, ran out of my car with the camera settings already chosen, and snapped two frames very quickly before the front of the lens became completely soaked.
