Solano Spotlight
A lone oak tree is lit up through a gap in the hills to the west at sunset. I noticed this tree from the window of my living room being lit up every evening and finally decided to drag myself out to photograph it while I still had the chance.

Neapolitan Buttes
Beautiful patterned buttes at zabriskie point in Death Valley, CA. Patches of the distant range are illuminated by morning light.
The striations in the hills reminded my friend and I of Neapolitan ice cream, which sounded good after a couple days out camping.
