losing our heads

this picture made me laugh instantly when I pulled it from a giant suit case full of snapshots. I knew I had to have them. They were on a magnetic display I have up for a long time, now it is a shadowey theme.

I cant get this song out of my head. I cant get a lot of his songs out of my head. I recently read Josh Ritters book, he wrote the book at the same time as he wrote this album. They go together. I have never read a book that felt like it had its own soundtrack. :)

These are a few more shots of my friends apple orchard. We drove by after the ice storm, I saw that it took down some of her apple trees and hazelnut trees. It made me a little sad.
