While these two famous streets run parallel with each other and never really meet, I was given this spectacular view high above the city by the Griffith Observatory.

I want to apologize for being a very bad flickr friend recently, but school is slowing down and I promise to catch up with everyone.

I've always wanted to take pictures from up at the Griffith Observatory... and last trip I made it happen.

Quite possibly one of the most overlooked places in all of Disneyland. It's hard to notice this little area because of the castle right behind it, but this fountain and wishing well bring back great memories of my past visits to Disneyland, and it's just a great place to take in the park.

No trip to southern California is complete without a trip to Disneyland. This was taken on the second annual Corey Dorsey meetup where a bunch of us photographers were playing at a night in the park. I hate to say it though, this will be the final annual meetup since I am moving to San Diego this October, which will only turn me into a local.

As for the shot, I was trying out a new camera at night (the original 5D that I got for a steal) and I came back disappointed with my results. The screen is very old school and I had a hard time seeing if my shots were blown out and sharp. Also, I've noticed that long exposures with that camera tend to cause a weird gradation in the sky.

Out of all the time I have been to southern California, I have never really taken pictures of LA. On this last trip I dragged my family to Griffith Observatory to get some night shots of the city because it was something I have wanted to do for a while now. And needless to say, the views did not fail.
