A reader wanted to know if this mask in his possession is a likeness of St. Joan of Arc.
"This mask came into my collection, and is said to be Joan d’Arc. Would you have any idea, or where I may find out? I have been told it is a religious saint by the ring around the face, and the stars. Also, pictures of Joan I have seen look very similar. Also she has a very Norman nose shape. Also, the face is of a small person. Maybe 5 foot or 5’2"? Of course she was burned at the stake, so…..life mask?”
