this stencil had a brief life at the Sydney University Graffiti
Tunnel. At the time that it was created there was a bit of a graffiti
war going on and it got repainted very quickly.
Christian group (E.U. evangelical union) does a lot of damage to
people's works in the tunnel often painting their messages on top of
beautiful murals or just putting paint on top of sections of people's
works as if to censor them.
I used about 6 stencils and heaps of different colours. Tried out a bit of silver which I'm not sure about. But the leopard spot stencil looks really good. The belton magenta stars look really delicate on the lime green star. usually I put a star in the A in Glitagrrl

this is my fave out of these ones i've done.
I should post the original photo that stencil came from, it was taken by me with my phone on the way to Newtown Festival. it's surprisingly not a great photo but made a great stencil, sometimes great photos don't turn into good stencils...

i remember seeing that ages ago .. just had de-ja-vu .. weird!! .. i've seen a similar print running off liverpool st near east village .. either that's you or someone is ripping you off big time ..

oh wow really? is this sydney or NY? cause if it's sydney it's probably mine.
although someone in melbourne has been doing stencils that look like me. (if someone is ripping me off big time i'm honoured i've inspired them- plus what will happen to their work if i stop mine?)

- sydney - i used to live on crown street around the corner from stanley street (home of bill and toni's) and i used to see a stencil or similar all the time on the side of a terrace opposite east village .. i remember because i stenciled my dog with jesus underneath it ..
