I love this temple so much!

I always liked this building for its uniqueness..

I fell in love with this angle when I saw it posted by Nathan GH! I just had to shoot it! So today I managed to get off early from work and since I was around dhoby Ghaut, I decided to walk to chinatown! Hurray for youth...

So I managed to spend my entire evening waiting for the light to be just right for this shot.. and I guess I'm satisfied!

Thats the amount of seconds this exposure was open for. This is a single raw image with post processing done. I used a lee big stopper and 0.9 lee soft gnd.

Pushing the 5d mk2 to its limits. 100% crops.. there were lots of hot pixels everywhere.. so I wouldnt really advise exposing so long as printing it large will look like shit..

But on a lighter note.. I feel this is the most complete version of this composition i've ever done. Its so clean feeling and I love it. A total opposite of pictures I saw whilst browsing one of the stalls below showing how the buildings shown here were before renovations and maintenance.

If you are ever in the area check out a stall near the relic temple.. They sell extremely amazing prints of a master film photographer. I was in awe at each print he put out..

I wish I could achieve that greatness...
