Rural Scene in Carroll County, MD

It was still quite cold today, a high of 39f, though bright. So off I went in search of photo-ops. I shot quite a few images today, mostly from inside the car with the window rolled down. This is one of them.

Snowy Egret snacking

There is a bait & tackle shop on the Venice Fishing Pier in Venice, FL. At the end of the day, the bait seller discards the bait that has passed on to its heavenly reward during the day. The egrets know this, & hang around waiting for a handout. This guy/gal was one of the lucky ones.
