      This was our main line. We only had it to forward to our other phones. Apparently, that counted as minutes, so after the pre-allotted 100 minutes, it stopped accepting calls and we had to switch to another number.

      Snout has been using the same GC Call Director script since 2002 (FoBiK). It's been pretty reliable, though we had a major glitch in 2004 (Justice Unlimited) and a minor issue in 2006 (Hogwarts). I think we avoided any hiccups in 2008 (Midnight Madness).

      The good news is, the Call Director runs on a small, mostly human-readable set of VXML and config files, so it's easy to tweak on the fly. We're happy to share the code with anyone who wants it. I believe we still have contacts at Tellme, so we can probably even hook you up with a toll-free number. :)

      I believe Burninators and coed astronomy have built fancier, more automated phone systems, which code they may also be willing to share with other GCs. There's no need for each Game to reinvent this particular wheel...
