Having not photographed for over 4 months it takes a time to get back in the "groove", this looked good on the camera LCD less so now I think.

The most difficult thing is trying to remember the keystrokes and short cuts on CS! lol

Hello everyone!

My first post and my first image captured since 19th September 2011.

The reason being, back in September I was out trying a new lens when I fell, I broke my left arm and shattered my elbow (right handed, thank goodness) also I sustained severe nerve damage to my hand. The arm is full of plates, wires, brackets and screws, something for the airport scanners!

This morning was the first day with the camera. I can just about get my hand high enough now to rest the lens when photographing and can just about move the zoom ring, so it can only get better from here on in!

Almost pre-ordered the new D800/E yesterday, spoke with the store, decisions, decisions, may wait for some more samples and reviews before deciding. Anyone ordered yet?
