Hisham Zaman, (1975- ), is a contemporary Kurdish-Norwegian filmmaker. He graduated from The Norwegian Film School at Lillehammer in 2004. He has made several award winning short films, most notably Bawke which has received more than 20 national and international awards.

Bawke' the best movie of last ten years

Kurdish Director Hisham Zaman's short movie "Bawke" has been selected as best film of the last ten years in Norway. The movie draws attention to refugee's problems by observing a Kurdish father and his son who are stuck between borders.

Evdile Koçer (born 1977 in the province of Siirt, Turkey), is a Kurdish writer.
Later he studied at Uppsala University in Kurdish language and literature.
Koçer has published many articles in various Kurdish magazines and newspapers. He also wrote many articles for Kurdish websites.

Kurdish musician Egîdê Cimo. The name is play instruments (pipe) in Kurdish bilûr. Are very famous in all Kurds. Kurds said to him the “king of caval”. He lives in Armenia. My portrait project continues. This project is located in the famous Kurdish artists and politicians.

Feleknas Uca (born 17 September 1976) is a German Die Linke politician of Kurdish descent. From 1999 to 2009 she was member of the European Parliament from Germany. Feleknas Uca was at one time the world's only Yazidi parliamentarian until the Iraqi legislature was elected in 2005. Mrs. Filiknas Uca, in Conference of Kurdish Women in Diyarbakir. This Conference, organized by Democratic Women's Movement. (24-25 April 2010)
She is a human rights activist and author in Kurdish newspaper Azadîya Welat.
