When I saw this pcicture in small format, it looked familiar... and rightly so! The day after tomorrow I am visiting my sister in Montelparo ;-)

Anyhow, your photo is a real nice shot.

What I meant was, that particular area of Marche has a town on every hilltop, most of them appropriately named Montesomething, e.g. Montefiore, Monterubbiano, Monte Vidon Combatte, Monterinaldo, Montottone, ... Although each of them has its own individual look, they have some common traits, like the colours of the bricks. So although I had not heard of Monteprandone before, the fact that it was in the Marche, the Monte prefix and the general look gave away to me the fact that the two places had to be fairly close to each other: 42km in fact.

      Thanks for the appreciation!

OK. I meant it was a mistake of the name, we get alot of -- Montesomething, -- the medieval villages has alot of familiar things.
