The tuilp on the right was an interesting exercise. I started off very delicate and light with some washes using NeoColour Crayons Scarlet, and then working over with Cretacolor Aquarellith and Derwent. Madder carmine. The painting didn't have a lot of presence, so I decided to make my colours heavier and bolder and this time it was the right decision. CommentsKeith Smith Photography
