Image of area S of Victoria Crater on Meridiani Planum Mars.
This image was made by taking a normalized grayscale version of James Canvin's FT terrain model and adding a contrast adjusted HiRise image. The resulting image was streched and median filtred (2 pixels) and gaussian blurred (1 pixel), then inverted. Coloring was set to indicate flat dark areas as red. Filled craters are indicated as red spots and small circular dots in this image. Large extended regions of red may be areas of blueberry armored "safe terrain.",
