Peace tower through the Carbide Mill ruins on Victoria Island

These ruins are all that are left of a carbide mill built by Thomas "Carbide" Wilson in the late 19th century on Victoria Island in Ottawa. The Peace Tower, part of Ottawa's Parliament Buildings, is framed in the window.

It's still amazing to me that you can find this stuff in the centre of the city.
