A field of almod trees in full bloom (and the detail bellow) - in the
Algarve they bloom very early (max beginning of February) and they are
also known as the "snown of the Algarve" - there is actually
a legend about this: an Arab prince married to a northern princess
ordered to be planted all these trees so she would enjoy their white
beauty and be reminded of the snown of her native country - and I must
say its truly beautiful, romantic and ever so soothing. So as Spring
is just around the corner (here its "on" already) I would
like to share with you all its celebration - so enjoy! After all:
