we're together again.

our dg finally met, in full force, for a meal at dempsey's yen dining. i love these girls, the quirks - not being able to hear each other in the car or across the table - knowing each others' food preferences, the fact that we want the quiet and choose to sit in a near empty atas restaurant rather than face the crowd at ben and jerry's. their failed surprises, the fascinations with quaint things. i love the simplicity i feel around them, the familiarity, the openness, the willingness to be vulnerable. i thank God for the years we've been together and i thank God especially for each one of them, for they add value to my life. ♥
