i picked the very last and sweetest strawberries of the summer yesterday, and ate handfuls, all day long. i felt nostalgic for july, even though there it was, happening all around me.
by evening i had let go of their season, finally ready for the next. such is my life, right now. a back and forth between memory and the present, and remembering that there is always an equally amazing next. peaches, for example ~

I've never been a very good juggler and reminding myself to live in the present is often a struggle for me. Hope you're enjoying your summer. We should be in burlington by Sunday night... hopefully. Can't wait to see those rolling hills!
