hi, vermont. i missed you, i did. (we picked strawberries today and i
thought we had picked way too many, but then there was talk of
february and four feet of snow, and we kept right on picking.)
there's a place for me here, high in the north, and i love that~ even
when i have to wear a sweater and wool hat on the last day of june,
and even though it's so far, far from cities and jobs and interesting
shops and perfect restaurants, and painfully far from amazing people
that make me almost painfully happy.
