I spotted a little herd of flowers (flock, herd - you know what I mean - the word escapes me right now..) between the boardwalk and the beach. The light was just starting to hit their shady little spot.

I shot into the sun to try and get this washed out look, and to get the little beam hitting the flower. The stripe in the bottom right corner is a blade of grass that the light was catching. I kinda like the overall effect. :)

I've been wanting to try this shot for a long time. Unfortunately there wasn't too much drama going on in the sky, but that gorgeous white soft sand made it a great place to watch the sun set, and snap off a few shots anyway.

This was the first time I'd seen this particular butterfly, so I was rather chuffed'. :) I like this background way better than the last shot I posted too. It turned out ok, I think?
