On the way to a photographic exhibition by Don McCuillin in the Tate Britain, we met Julian Wynne in the Victoria Park Gardens near Lambeth Bridge. One of life's true gentleman who was at a loss as to where good manners had disappeared to over the years. He very kindly let me take his photograph and, though he lives nearby, I don't know his address. If anyone knows him then I'd like to send him a print.

On the way to the Tate Britain my son, Stephen, and I walked down Lambeth Road and then Kennington Road, I couldn't resist a shot of a traditional (not so black) cab.

Walking back along Kennington Road to the junction with Lambeth Road, (looking for a bus.....really!) I may never see a traditional double decker again so this is my abiding memory of one.

Lovely to get this shot with the birds playing around the tree on another misty day in Bélàbre.
