CONSU[ME] Wallpaper
These are the base graphics for the Ohio Youth Convention which will be attended by all A/G churches in Ohio. I know the effect has been seen alot on the lab. Thanks to all for the inspiration. This effect was just perfect for their concept. Any critique would be appreciated.

much better than the Potomac Convention graphics this year.
Ur glowy, swirly lines are different than ones that I've seen, more jagged. I like it and was wondering what you did to get that. Is it a brush you applied to the stroke or did you embellish the strokes by hand?

i love that you tweaked a tutorial that many of us (not excluding myself) copied too closely. nice job!
i'm not sure that the graphic really says "consume me." It's more like "look what i can do!'
maybe there could be some origin of the flame below the man (maybe even out of the frame) that ignites and and consumes him
i'm also not sure the paper outline makes much sense. you could have him appear more real and not cutout.
OR you could tweak this concept and hae burned paper edges! oooh that would be cool!

I was questioning the paper cut out too. I'll definitely have to give the burned edges a try! Great idea.
I was just trying to abstractly represent a teenager being consumed by the spirit of God. Wanted it to be high energy, too, with lots of movement.

nice work... though i am tired of seeing this type of treatment poping up everything using the same style and imagery... instead of the dancing image guy... use something that people can relate too... I dont know too many guys that are into high school musical!
Ok... enough being hard... love how you took the glow lines and turned them into flame lines... nice twist!
