Raesfeld Castle is one of Germany's most beautiful moated castles. It is located in the district of Borken in the western part of Muensterland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The photo shows the northern end of the front building, named "Bauhaus" and built around the year 1600. It was a kind of a farmhouse with stables and granaries.
Schloss Raesfeld gehört zu den schönsten Wasserschlössern Deutschlands. Es liegt im Kreis Borken im westlichen Münsterland.
Das Foto zeigt den nördlichen Abschluss der Vorburg, Bauhaus genannt. Dabei handelt es sich um ein Bauernhaus, das um das Jahr 1600 errichtet wurde und Viehställen und Kornkammern Raum bot.
