    Taken for this weeks creative photography thread at The World through My Eyes
    I used the painting with light technique ( a long exposure in the dark with the subject illuminated by a flashlight) to achieve the dramatic lighting.

    The key is a huge one that my husband "acquired" as a child from a convent that was being demolished.

      Thanks everyone, I am overwhelmed with the response to this photo.
      I should add that any hidden messages in this photo don't come from me :-) I'm not a Catholic and the rosary belonged to my late father-in-law.

      Rich, beautiful colors- amazingly beautiful lighting, and perfect "as if by happenstance" composition. I really like this shot a lot- I don't think you could have made it any better- it's absolutely perfect.

      (Mental note to self: Try that "painting with light" technique soon!)
