Now that the gutter guard is on the gutters, sparrows and starlings will have to find somewhere else to live and I will get a full night's sleep. A squiillion birds all talking excitedly in the walls at 4.00am of a summer's morning is not designed to put me in a good frame of mind. Be gone my feathered friends!

Sorry Perle, it's that time of year again!

Bryd and Griff received a parcel in the post today from overseas, from their Auntie Pat (Pureheart11) in America. They were so excited. Bryd, as the elder, claimed both squeaky toys for himself but Griff, being of a gentle disposition, was cool with that. They send a big excited thank you to Auntie Pat!

Cosmos, tree dahlia, black bamboo, new fern mulch. Next year it will all be much thicker as this is only two summers' growth.
