I planned to setup portrait of myself. Which I had setup. and doing. But my bro came down and starting praticing dj'ing so I was like Score! Move lights on hit and shot this. I am not totally happy with it but I have been trying to work with using speedlights and Canon's wireless flash system which is new to me.

Lighting 411: 1 580 exII in half covered umbrella for back camera left wall. 1 580 EX II CR in lasolite 24 inch softbox. Flashes triggered by 580 EX II master on camera.

First pic of my 3rd attempt at 365. I waited until last minute and came up with this shot. Did not even have time to edit it. I started thinking about what I would do around 11:15pm. I had no people in site and I am a people shooter. I have trouble shooting object because they are not the reason I got in to photography. Going with that though in my head I decide to take a portrait of coffee table book by the man who's images made me want to be a photographer. Way ahead of him time in my opinion. I try to create some composition in the few minutes I had to shoot. I wanted to incorporate my workstation that was running screensaver with some of my images I have created since starting. The symbolism of this picture is that Avedon is always in the forefront of my mind when creating images and my images are a blur. I struggle to gain more clear view of "a style" of my own and to create actually series or a project this year to do some exhibits or be published. For now its just day one. And long journey ahead.
