At a temple called 灵隐寺, also translated as the Temple of the Soul's Retreat, in Hangzhou, China. A beautiful and peaceful place, despite the mass of people walking around there that day - because of the Lantern festival, 15 days after Lunar New Year...

I might repeat the following more often in the future, but if any of you ever plans to visit China, do put Hangzhou on your list. It's not far from Shanghai (40 minutes by high speed train - which flies at about 250 km/h or 155.35 mph :-) ) and it's incredibly beautiful. I haven't seen too many foreign tourists there, though it seems to be really well-known among Chinese...

This is a kitchen of one of the many eating places at Hong Kong International Airport.

The main thing I have learned during my trip to China is that food is central to everything, and there is plenty of it, and it tastes so good... really, really good :-) I will think about a way of presenting all the food images nicely here on Flickr any time soon...
