Goodbye for now

Goodbye for now

For my good friends here on Flickr, and any of those who have taken the time to follow my work, I must thank you greatly, for I am temporarily leaving Flickr until mid 2011. I know, SHOCK, even when I have this PRO account I should be taking advantage of. I am sorry, but please let me assure you, this does not mean I dislike being here, I love keeping track of everyone’s uploads, I just for now don’t seem to have the time lately, or more importantly, the computer power to keep up with everyone.

It really does come down to my poor little HP Pavilion Laptop, which I love, but at the same time hate. It just isn’t powerful enough to keep up with me these days, and this is not just for gaming, but also for my work, as I need a computer that can obliterate loading time.

So why leave if I just own a slow computer? To be honest, as much of a half assed excuse as it is, I just don’t have the time right now to sit at my computer for hours. I have about 3 months now before I finish college! I know big shock for me too, the fastest two years ever if you ask me. Having said that, this means I will be drowning in course work and making damn well sure that the grades I accumulate will be strong enough to get me into University in September 2011.

That’s also another thing; I will be taking a gap year before I shoot off to Uni for three years, which means I will be working flat out to make enough money to buy all the crap I want. A new computer to start with I think!

As many of you can tell from the picture, I desperately want the New Apple IMac (PLEASE LET’S NOT TURN THIS INTO A MAC VS PC WAR) I just have a thing for these computers, because I love “all in ones” and yet, I have not yet come across another “all in one” that looks and performers as well as the IMac. DO NOT LET THE HIGH PRICE FOOL YOU!!! Macintosh’s are cleverly made and sold at a reasonable price once you REALLY go into detail about comparing them with PCs. Yes you can build your own for half the price and double the power, but never will you get that true majesty, design and security of just one company to turn to if you ever had a query.

I am sad as I’m writing this, because I don’t want to leave, I just have to conform to the harsh reality of More work and little Play.

Anyway, I will most likely be back by September 2011. So If I’m not around before that time, I can assure you. I’M NOT DEAD. Now I just have to be careful I don’t step into the road without looking.

Peace to everyone and I hope your year is a busy but fun one. I’ll be around for the next week to answer any comments, but then I’m afraid I must go.

Take care my friends.

3 Hudson Lane

3 Hudson Lane

Back again! Hello to everyone who has missed me. (ye right! Lol) Well I have certainly missed being here, I have to apologise for my frequent disappearing acts. Lots of reasons I can assure you. Let me start:
1.College!!!! Sooo busy right now, I finish in May, so it’s all hands on deck for now whilst I finish up on all my course work, very frustrating.

2.Work!!! Work has been very hard at the Department store, and money is tight lately, lots and lots of work. I hate it, but I want the money (don’t we all)

3.The GYM!!!!! It has become an EXTRME necessity in my life, I have recently decided that I’m too fat and ugly to be making it worse by Simming away on my computer, and that it was time to do something about it.

4.My computer is SHIT! Excuse my bad language. But seriously, my computer sucks so much, it can hardly perform a simple task like Spell Check without it taking the entire length of one of my songs I listen to whist I wait for it to load, so If you think about when trying to play the Sims??? Well, let’s just say that the house above you has taken about a month to build.

5.I have been torturing myself lately with long shot dreams of owning £3000 computers and £2000 LED TVs. It’s very sad, I want it all so much, and it seems to be the only thing I’m doing in my spare time lately.

Well I think that’s all, anyway to the picture. It took about a month to build this crazy house and about 6 achingly long hours putting this bloody picture together, seriously though, had I better computer, it would have taken 20 minutes.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to do this thing lately where I have to build my perfect house. Over here in the UK, we have a television program called Grand Designs, where regular people design and build their own houses, and the best thing about it, you get to see the finished building. I would want to be on it one day and create my perfect abode, only thing now is, I have to practice, although I should be worrying more about my studies. Oh well.

It’s not the best house I’ve made; in fact I’m not all that happy with it. I tend to make this mistake a lot by having an absolutely huge house, but very few rooms in it. So I will have the biggest lot, and it will end up having as little as two bedrooms and one bathroom. I’m practicing though.

Well, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the other Holidays I’m too ignorant to know, and I will hopefully be around here to check up on you all a little more.

Take care for now guys!!! ^________________^

My new DSI!!!

My new DSI!!!

What I bought with my Christmas money!! I have been meaning to buy one of these for ages. It was a DSI or a WII.

I went with the DSI mainly because I have an awful television to play it on, plus I don’t really have the room to be running around.

I would rather have both mind, but you know how it is...

Avatar!!!

Avatar!!!

Now this doesn’t usually happen. Most of the time I have to be amazingly impressed to go this far, but thankfully, I was.
Anyone seen AVATAR yet??? No!!!! GO AND SEE IT NOW! My gosh, this film was just beyond beautiful. I have never been blown away be something so spectacular. James Cameron really outdid himself with this one. And I loved it so much, I just had to show you all my Avatar merchandise.
Amazon I love you so much!!

If you’re wondering about the Soundtrack? Well, words can’t describe.

My nerdy Nightmare/Dream

My nerdy Nightmare/Dream

Yes, you may have guessed by the title. This is a nightmare for me, BUT it’s also a dream, because everything you see on this picture, is everything I MUST gather before the end of July 2011.

Ok, so I’m insane! Yes, I know, even I think that this is ridiculously nerdy and sad of me doing, but in my defence, I am REALY BOARD at the moment, I mean REALY BOARD!!!! I have only just watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Hmmmmm, well, as a hardcore fan, I have to love it and I did, but I know there were some things that could have certainly been improved. So that really was my trigger for doing something like this.

So about the stuff, *NOW I WARN YOU* if you don’t like technical information and computers, then look away now, because this will really bore the crap out of you, ok. Right, moving on...

I had a talk with my good friend Tictic, a few months ago about buying this really awesome HP laptop for about £1500, and it was to die for. But, because I’m so darn materialistic, I just have to have more and more and more.

Now I fell in love with the IMac, because, it’s the whole computer within the monitor, and all you need other than that, is a mouse and keyboard. This is soooo nice, because I hate having wires everywhere: wires for the mouse, keyboard, monitor, modem, speakers, printers and most probably a whole load of other crap. And when I found out about the IMac, at college, I had to have one.
So what IMac, shall I have???

Here is a list of what my perfect IMac has to be like:
27 Inch. Yes you read correctly............27 inches (2560 x 1440).
3.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Edit 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x4GB
2TB Serial ATA Drive
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB
AppleCare Protection Plan for iMac 3 years.

So that’s the IMac that I desperately want. Now onto the MacBook Pro:

13 inch resolution
8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
256GB solid-state drive

Of course these are just the computers. Both will most probably MAC OSX Snow leopard, but knowing the fast evolution of computers these days, there will probably be a better version by the time I have the money.

Now, obviously, just like everyone here, I still love the Sims 2, but I don’t love it enough to buy all of them again in Mac format, so I thought I’d just buy a Windows 7 CD along with a parallels software so I can play not only Sims 2 but all the other PC games I own. Doing it this way will most probably be cheaper anyway. I also really want to see what windows 7 is like.

The printer is by HP is just beautiful and wireless, plus it’s touch screen so all the more reason to buy it, LOL. Intuous 4 medium drawing tablet, as my poor little sad, small bamboo fun died on me.
Camera, I’m not entirely sure which one yet, but I’m sure I want a Canon worth over £600, along with a lens which is just as expensive.

As I’m a student, I get a HUGE discount on software If I buy from apple, so I can get a student version of CS4 for about £100, please don’t start lecturing me about getting it illegally or from some strange dodgy website, because I really won’t. Obviously, I need Microsoft office, so that slots into this whole thing, and the games pretty much speak for the, selves. I want them. Lol

Well, I have about a year to get all this, I now have to beg my work for more hours.
You're probably wondering...WHY do I want all this. Well to be honest, I'm taking a gap year before I go to Uni. And to be honest, It would just be nice to have it all for when I go.
