Yes, you may have guessed by the title. This is a nightmare for me, BUT it’s also a dream, because everything you see on this picture, is everything I MUST gather before the end of July 2011.
Ok, so I’m insane! Yes, I know, even I think that this is ridiculously nerdy and sad of me doing, but in my defence, I am REALY BOARD at the moment, I mean REALY BOARD!!!! I have only just watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Hmmmmm, well, as a hardcore fan, I have to love it and I did, but I know there were some things that could have certainly been improved. So that really was my trigger for doing something like this.
So about the stuff, *NOW I WARN YOU* if you don’t like technical information and computers, then look away now, because this will really bore the crap out of you, ok. Right, moving on...
I had a talk with my good friend Tictic, a few months ago about buying this really awesome HP laptop for about £1500, and it was to die for. But, because I’m so darn materialistic, I just have to have more and more and more.
Now I fell in love with the IMac, because, it’s the whole computer within the monitor, and all you need other than that, is a mouse and keyboard. This is soooo nice, because I hate having wires everywhere: wires for the mouse, keyboard, monitor, modem, speakers, printers and most probably a whole load of other crap. And when I found out about the IMac, at college, I had to have one.
So what IMac, shall I have???
Here is a list of what my perfect IMac has to be like:
27 Inch. Yes you read correctly............27 inches (2560 x 1440).
3.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Edit 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x4GB
2TB Serial ATA Drive
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB
AppleCare Protection Plan for iMac 3 years.
So that’s the IMac that I desperately want. Now onto the MacBook Pro:
13 inch resolution
8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
256GB solid-state drive
Of course these are just the computers. Both will most probably MAC OSX Snow leopard, but knowing the fast evolution of computers these days, there will probably be a better version by the time I have the money.
Now, obviously, just like everyone here, I still love the Sims 2, but I don’t love it enough to buy all of them again in Mac format, so I thought I’d just buy a Windows 7 CD along with a parallels software so I can play not only Sims 2 but all the other PC games I own. Doing it this way will most probably be cheaper anyway. I also really want to see what windows 7 is like.
The printer is by HP is just beautiful and wireless, plus it’s touch screen so all the more reason to buy it, LOL. Intuous 4 medium drawing tablet, as my poor little sad, small bamboo fun died on me.
Camera, I’m not entirely sure which one yet, but I’m sure I want a Canon worth over £600, along with a lens which is just as expensive.
As I’m a student, I get a HUGE discount on software If I buy from apple, so I can get a student version of CS4 for about £100, please don’t start lecturing me about getting it illegally or from some strange dodgy website, because I really won’t. Obviously, I need Microsoft office, so that slots into this whole thing, and the games pretty much speak for the, selves. I want them. Lol
Well, I have about a year to get all this, I now have to beg my work for more hours.
You're probably wondering...WHY do I want all this. Well to be honest, I'm taking a gap year before I go to Uni. And to be honest, It would just be nice to have it all for when I go.
