A month ago my cousin had his wedding reception at the Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavillion. I fell in love with the location instantly, I couldn't believe I had never been there in my life. So tonight I was pretty sure we would have a nice sunset so I decided to head out there, and the sky did not disappoint!

Bridal Veil Falls, Chilliwack, BC.

Took a small group of friends up to the falls this morning. It was absolutely pouring, but I was determined to get a shot. I'm not the type to drive for an hour and leave with nothing lol. Unfortunately my lens fogged up and no matter how much I wiped I couldnt get it clean or dry. So I decided to go with a sepia-ish tone to help blend the fog into the scene. Any critiques are welcome!

Deer Lake, Burnaby, BC.

I've been trying to wrap my head around shooting using hyper-focal distance. This shot is an eye opener. Usually I would just max out my f-stop and use the widest depth of field possible. this was shot at f-14 and I cannot believe the difference in sharpness and detail.
If anyone has any handy tips or tricks they want to share by all means send them my way!

Went for a walk with my girlfriend today, and decided to bring my camera along. The shot is nothing special, I was more or less just fooling around on some slippery rocks.
