Frank Curto Park

Frank Curto was a Pittsburgh horticulturist who managed the Phipps Conservatory collection from 1960 to 1970. This small, unusual Park bearing his name is located on top of a hill that overlooks Pittsburgh's Strip District. The two most distinguishing features of the Frank Curto Park are an unusual steel sculpture know as the French Fries (shown above) and a huge family of pretty aggressive wild turkeys (not shown... yet). I can't honestly say that I have ever seen anyone in the Park besides the maintenance crews.
