The old bridge HDR

The old bridge HDR by ensenis.
I was asked if I tried Photomatix.
This image was made with the version 2.4.1. of a friend of mine.
I used three photos.
Av: 9.0 Tv 1/60 ISO 1600
Av 9.0 Tv 1/100 ISO 1600
Av 9.0 Tv 1740 ISO 1600
I'll look for other bracketed images and I'll repeat the attempt.

Thank you. There are still some drawbacks, as it is my first attempt with this software.

Nice first stride with the software. Be sure to use the default button at the bottom left of the box in tonemapping before you tonemap each photo otherwise you'll get the settings from the last one! Play a lot with the sliders. It's a lot like learning to swim: jump in and see how it goes! Looking forward to see you progress!

I am not sure if you are using the updated version or not.... this turned out very well and I just love it...... what is cool about it is that depending on the look you want, the sliders will provide many many different looks..... never select align photos.... if they are all the same size they will align themselves.... if the program tries to do it... it won't get it right some of the time. Anyway your photos are all smooth and perfect.. If I want a strong reflection and a slightly metalic look I use more luminosity than exposure or brightness... I have forgotten what the name of that part of the menu is.... just remember luminosity means shine from reflection such as water ect... sometimes I like a grungy or almost dirty look, for that I use microcontrast and not much microsmoothing.

In the newest version they have so many options... from tones to saturation of highlights, saturation of shadows ect... for instance if you feel like overall you like the picture but there is too much brilliance to either the shadows or the highlights this option will fix that part of the photo... I use to use this all of the time for almost everything ... I've been getting away from it and learning shadow techniques instead of hdr.... but it's great when you can combine the two techniques...I still have so much to learn! All of your pictures are fantastic.. this one... a fav.

This is so awesome! My camera decided to stop working as soon as we got close to the bridge. Oh well. Next time.
