Week #3 - Irish!

God, Country, Notre Dame - In Glory Everlasting.

These words are engraved in stone above the side door to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the Notre Dame campus. And this is the spot on campus that never fails to make me get all teary-eyed and emotional, thinking about how this place has deeply influenced me.

So I'm one of those people totally sappy over Notre Dame. For me, Notre Dame epitomizes faith, excellence and a deep commitment to aspire to something better (expressed far better than me by former football coach, Lou Holtz).

Two defining moments in my life:
1. Opening the acceptance letter - I couldn't believe they let me in (total Debra Morgan reaction, completely inappropriate coming from girl from Our Lady of LaSalette).
2. Graduation day (MBA) - A big deal for an RC kid from Berkley.
