While we were having a cup of coffee on a recent visit to a garden centre this robin flew up and sat for some time on a seat across our table.

Anne the Asian elephant(1).

Anne was recently the subject of a case of cruel treatment by the circus that owned her.But thanks to a National British newspaper exposing this she now has a much better life at Longleat safari park in the UK.This photo was taken on 18/04/2011.We sat in our car watching her for about 15 minutes along with many other vehicles.But Anne stayed at the rear of her compound.My wife kept willing her to come closer to us but she stayed where she was.Then when all the other cars had left she immediately walked over to us for a few minutes before returning to the rear of her compound again.
