Tarragon

Tarragon is back! . It dies for Winter and comes back in the Spring, bigger, and stronger, year after year.

Great herb to have in any garden. See what else to grow and do in your garden, in May:

Oh, I like tarragon (here called Estragon) very much, but we had a cold winter and he froze back very much. But now he is growing a little. Do you have the Russian or the French Tarragon? (Russian t. is very tough, but not very tasty, the French t. is very sensible but much more tasty!)

      This is French Tarragon.

I ended once buying tarragon (or estragon) seeds (mistake), this happend to be the Russian variety, easy to germinate, but quite useless in the kitchen (lacks aroma, to start with)

Perhaps it would help if you try to move part of your estragon and plant it in a more sheltered position (my father in law says, look for a sweet spot), also, perhaps little ring of mulch around it might help nex Winter?
