A ballerina because she is anything but graceful. In this photo I wanted to expose that everyone has something they wish they were in her case to be graceful like a ballerina. But to portray that I didn't want to go traditional ballerina way but a more confused ballerina which is portrayed in her playful expression and flip of her tutu.

My model Lena Zell is much into fashion and very free spirited. She is not one to care of what people think of her but cares more about what she thinks is right. In this photo the rope binding her from doing what she wants is keeping her struggling to let loose. It symbolizes her struggle with what is socially acceptable and what she wants to be as a person. The sunglasses symbolize the shield she has, her tough personality that hides who she truly wants to be.

Beautiful on the inside is one thing but to glow with beauty from within is another. My model is a unique one, one with a strong lively personality that draws everyone toward her. She is beautiful in a different sense on the outside because she is beautiful on the inside. She is friendly and care free enough to be up for anything. She may be beautiful on the the outside but there is so much beauty to discover inside. I wanted to capture her beauty on the outside but removed her clothes to show that the inside is beautiful too.
