Another shot taken in Haworth, this time in the graveyard next to the Bronte Parsonage. There are many old graves here but because of the damp weather the shine on this one caught my eye. On closer inspection the fallen petals added a few drops of colour.
Actually it is probably more of an empty house than a home since it is situated on the busy Main Street in Haworth. It is one of three lined up on the wall which is what initially made me take the shot however I think the single bird house with the great textures of the stone behind make a good shot. I may post one of the complete group at a later date.
Another shot taken at the superb National Museum of Flight near Edinburgh.
Unfortunately I didn't take any notes and since there were so many things to look at I can't be 100% sure of exactly which aircraft this is. 25 years ago I would have been able to tell you not only the type but also the variant however my memory is a bit rusty now. To me it looks like an F4 Phantom - please correct me if I am wrong!
Taken at the National Museum of Flight near Edinburgh. To get so close to so many great aircraft, including this Vulcan, was fantastic. I could have spent all day here but I think my wife and kids would have protested. I will be uploading a few more shots from this visit soon.
