The Chinese Bride- Shot on Expired Film

The Chinese Bride- Shot on Expired Film

Film: Kodak Safety Film Tri-X (Expired from 1980s)
Camera: Minolta CLE
Lens: Voigtlander 1.4 40mm
Happy wedding anniversary Rita and Massimo. Dan and I were priviledged enough to be invited to an Italian wedding (with a chinese twist) near Francavilla a year ago.
This picture was shot with expired film- hence there is this very old-fashioned kind of look.

Finding Love Valley

Finding Love Valley

While we were in Capadoccia, we spent the morning driving around to find the "Love Valley". We stumbled on this scenery instead. I wasn't happy with the initial composition as there was too much negative space so this is a crop of the original.

Nazar- Charm to ward off the evil eye

Nazar- Charm to ward off the evil eye

Taken near The Pigeon Valley
Camera: Pentax 6X7
Film: Fuji 160s

These charms are sold everywhere in Turkey. We were admiring the view around Goreme, Capadoccia when I took this photography.
I'm still experimenting with cross processing and I soon realised that this was not the film to cross process. I usually love stronger colours with film.

Capadoccia- Somewhere near The Love Valley

Finally developed and scanned the films I took in Capadoccia, Turkey this year. The residents lived in these interesting rock formations.
