i think my resistance to the image was that to me the apparent deapth of her "emotional state" felt "false" or exceeded the "believabilty" of the moment - "overly dramatic" -
but on the heels of your response i find that i'm asking my self if what i was resisting or calling "false" was really me just being uncomfortable with what the image "evokes" in me which could quikly lead to a conversation regarding "archetype"
and the way in which i am prone to discount or surpress that which makes me feel uncomfortable - to lable it as something i would feel comfortable and justified in rejecting . .
