still time to change things
Last summer, I was unemployed for a few months and it was a really alienating experience. I became disproportionately frustrated with restaurant solicitation in the form of menus slipped under my door and handed out on the street. The more angry I became, the more guilty I felt about shaming the people distributing menus. I wanted to be happy for anyone working, so I decided to transform the experience.

I meditated on slogans that describe the interaction between solicitor and solicited. For months, I gratefully collected all menus given to me. Then, I cut these slogans into the menus and handed them out. This is an ongoing project.
