growing collection

each time I get new thread I sit down & stick it on one of these little plastic bobbins. I was putting a bit of washi tape under the thread but I like being able to see the colors numbers, so now I stick it to the top. It's strangely relaxing and satisfying. Like the rest of my day is a trainwreck, but heck, look how organized my threads are ;)

    I love this! I also wrap mine around the bobbins, but I bought binder rings and keep mine on those using the little hole at the top. I love the idea of keeping them in vintage Pyrex though (my felt and vintage sewing threads live in two Pyrex bowls).

    squeeee, love them! mine are on rings as well (spent days wrapping them on bobbins while watching ugly betty online, LOL!) and jumbled in a jar. i like your way better.
