Clearly I've got a thing for these two colors lately!
I bought these two skeins of yarn during the Plucky Knitters last update, I love them so much but I don't knit anymore & only know like 2 crochet stitches, so I'm not sure what to do with them, I guess just admire them? take photos of them? squish them?
I laid out out my scrappy squares quilt today and tomorrow I'll sew the rows together, I'm sort of letting it marinate until I decide for sure on the layout. And I'm not motivated enough to start pressing the seams open ;)
As a side note, today Mr. McPorkchop & I went to an antiques store in Old Town and I genuinely was scared! The place was jam packed full of stuff, like not a single empty space, sensory overload xten but the stuff was...CREEPY! Antlers with old hockey masks hanging off them, dolls with blank stares, old hunting traps, broken bottles...and THEN! A man came up & started talking to me wearing period clothing! Like a top hat & coat tails! AND A METAL TOPPED CANE! That thumped loudly when he walked near me, which was OFTEN!!!! And singing "Won't you be my neighbor" from Mr. Rogers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But smelling of acqua di gio, lol. BIZARRE! Mr. McPorkchop thought he may have been the driver of the horse & carriage...BUT THERE WAS NO HORSE OR CARRIAGE!!!! Clearly I've been watching too much Buffy & Torchwood because I was convinced if we bought something home it was going to be cursed or the man was going to breathe in my soul.
Or something. If I'm gone and my soul is wandering aimlessly around, it's because Mr. McPorkchop bought a $10 camera lens.
