Helmsdale River

Ex #1 & Front Page Explore :)) Thanks ! A shot from my wee trip up north last week.

The peaty water up here is some of the most deeply coloured I have seen, it comes down from the bogs and moors of the flow country in Sutherland. It’s the peat in the water that gives the locals in this area there propensity for red hair and freckles, right Stewart ;))

Cracking shot,beautiful colour,you're right about the water,some of the slower moving pools take on an almost deep red colour.
