Ah, spring time at the zoo (Potter Park Zoo, Lansing, MI). The white peacock strutting his stuff around to the other peafowl, looking for the right female with which to spend some quality time in the near future.

Thanks! I wish I could say that I planned it to turn out this way. The lighting for the day was weird and I kept having to change all the settings about every 5 minutes. I had been inside shooting some tiger cubs and had stepped outside to take some of pictures of the park's black rhino. This peacock was in the rhino's cage showing off, so I decided to grab a few pics of it first. The pose was exactly what I was looking for, but the lighting, a complete surprise when I was reviewing the shots for the day. I couldn't wait to get it processed. I still have a 1/3 of my photos to review, but put them on hold to get this one completed.
