St. John the Baptist (late 15th century)

This is an Italian work of art depicting St. John the Baptist and dates to the late 15th century. It was created by the Della Robbia studios in Florence and is made of Maiolica (tin-glazed earthernware). It is today located within the collection of the Koerner European Ceramic Gallery section of UBC’s Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada
