Grilled young octopuses (Greek style)

Grilled young octopuses (Greek style)

Ingredients (for 2 portions):

Small young octopuses: 8-10

Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Dry white wine (I use chablis, you can also try retsina to make it real Greek): 2 tablespoons or more

1/2 of lemon (use both juice and zest)

Fresh dill

Garlic: 1-2 small pieces (better rub on a grater)

Salt, pepper

Cook octopuses 5-6 minutes in boiled water, then cover with cold water and throw in a colander. Use salt and pepper, put octopuses into wine and oil for 30 minutes or more. After that use lemon, garlic and dill and place octopuses onto grill. Cook 7-10 minutes.

Alternatively, you can make marinade using oil, wine, garlic, lemon, salt and pepper. Put octopuses into marinade for 30 minutes or more. Sprinke octopuses with dill and place on grill for 7-10 minutes.
